Ceremony by Caitlin Newby
Ceremony is a remarkable achievement, for while recognising the slipperiness and contingence of language, as well as the power at play in words and representation, it has a remarkable, searing clarity—so that these poems seem to look right back at you. Newby’s stares, glances and glimpses look for new ways of looking, living and loving. She opens our eyes. — Emily Hasler
